FasTracks is a Denver-area, voter approved and tax funded project to expand commuter rail throughout the metro area. Before voters approved it in November 2004, I railed against it (pun intended) as a $4.7 billion boondoggle. Well, I hate to say it, but I told you so!
The headlines last week talked all about how Al Gore went before Senate and House committees to talk about global warming and the "planetary crisis" we now face. Do you know the full story? Did you know that he refused to "walk the talk" and reduce his own energy usage?
I am a bit of a "global warming skeptic" for many reasons. I simply don't believe the "science" behind the theory is all that solid.

The latest so-called scandal to hit Washinton… President Bush fired eight U.S. attorneys. For whatever reason this is raising a furor on Capitol Hill. Maybe he should have called his predecessor or the esteemed junior senator from New York for advice!
