Now we know what made Heaven Dragon’s food so good

More than a year after the DEA and the North Metro Task Force shut down his alleged drug ring, Dan Tang, owner of Heaven Dragon Chinese food restaurant, surrendered to federal authorities today. Tang will be charged with money laundering at a minimum and additional charges are possible.
Tang is accused of being the money man behind a marijuana growing scheme that bought houses across the north metro area to serve as farms for the drug. Seven other men were arrested a year ago including his cousin and two of this brothers-in-law. Tang of course denies involvement.
A bit of a local celebrity, Tang has served up his famous Chinese food to politicians from former President George W. Bush to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Tang was active in the community supporting many local causes but of course now one has to wonder exactly where that money came from.
Local politicians courted Tang in years past but distanced themselves since the scheme came to light. After more than a year since the initial bust, those same local politicians were once again cozying up to Tang. I don’t expect they will be seen with Tang now.
- CBS4 Story: Owner Of Prominent Chinese Restaurant Surrenders
This is truly a tragedy for the north area. Where are we supposed to get good Chinese food now?
Every one needs to go to Chans Inn 120th and Colo Blv.
Great food and peeps and no drugs.
Try it you wont be sorry
Yes I enjoy Chan’s Inn much more than Heaven Dragon
I did always like their oregano seasoning.
Even without this story about Heavon Dragon owner Dan Tang, we always thought that United Chines (128th and Colorado) was a better restaurant. Best won ton soup I’ve had anywhere, plus much more to enjoy,
