This isn’t the first time a politician broke a promise nor is it the first time Barack Obama broke this particular one.  It does however bear repeating:

When there is a bill that lands on my desk as president, you the public will have five days to look online to find out what is in it before I sign so that you know what your government is doing. 

I’m not a math major but I don’t think it is five days from Sunday when the health care legislation passed to today when the president will sign the disaster into law.
