Much has been made about what a great orator President Obama is.  Here on these pages, we have often wondered how he received that reputation.  From the use of ‘um’ or ‘uh’ more than 180 times in a press conference to his continued need for a teleprompter, even when speaking at an elementary school (picture right) it is sometimes baffling how he can be considered such a great speaker.

Notwithstanding those gaffes, it would seem that if you were to be giving a job speech in these tough economic times, that speech would make the citizen taxpayer the focus.  That isn’t the case with the president though.

Last Friday Obama traveled to Ohio to give a ‘jobs speech’ and the content was interesting.  He mentioned ‘taxpayer’ twice, ‘tax cuts’ twice and ’small business’ eight times.

He exclaimed that “This is not about me!” But how many times did President Obama say ‘I’ during the speech?  132!  Video below.
