President Obama Air Force One ClimategateIt isn’t all that unusual for a State of the Union address to have their lighthearted moments.  However, when you are trying to make a supposedly serious point and most everyone laughs, that is not a good sign.

During last night’s address, President Obama was trying to drive home the need for new taxes via his cap and trade tax scheme.  Of course he had to mention the dangers the purported threat of climate change pose and like many climate alarmists, try to convince everyone that everyone agrees on the manmade climate change theory.

“I know that there are those who disagree with the overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change,” the president said.

The chamber immediately erupted in laughter as most would admit that the scientific case for global warming is quickly falling apart.  Even Vice President Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi couldn’t help but laugh.

It was a rather comical moment.  Watch the video below and then head over to the Climate Change Examiner for an honest look at the state of climate science.
