Almost one month to the day after insisting a brigadier general call her Senator and not ma’am, California Senator Barbara Boxer once again makes an appearance on Tony’s Rants.  This time the good senator receives a hard slapdown from Black Chamber of Commerce CEO Harry Alford after Boxer displays subtle but definitely palatable racism during a Environment and Public Works Committee hearing. 

In the discussion about the benefits (or lack thereof) of ‘green’ jobs, Mr. Alford rightfully took the senator to task when she introduced into the record an NAACP resolution.  By waiting until Mr. Alford – a black man –  was testifying against the measures and in opposition to her, Boxer certainly chose to bring race into the discussion.  The back and forth in the video below is very interesting.
