Don't say I didn't warn you.  The sad reality of RTD's Fastracks project continues to become evident.  The district has started the process of emminent domain and taking land from property owners.  To make matters worse, they intend to use the land to build shops and possibly even residential areas - not just transit related development.  Is this really what voters wanted?  Home owners and business owners being evicted?

This also comes at a time when costs for the project continue to climb.  Now word is coming out that the Union Station plan will cost an extra $57 million and take an extra year to complete.  Fastracks is a boondoggle of tremendous proportions.
