A bit of a follow-up to my entry last week about Hillary Clinton's foreign policy experience... The Clinton campaign has now said that Clinton "misspoke" when she talked of ducking sniper fire in Bosnia in 1996. Of course this wasn't until bloggers and Internet news outlets called her to the carpet on it and not until after she has reiterated the claim saying, "Everyone else was told to sit on their bulletproof vests," Clinton said. "And we came in, in an evasive maneuver. ... There was no greeting ceremony, and we basically were told to run to our cars. Now, that is what happened." For more information: |
