Some background...  For those that may not know, the U.S. has been developing a space age "ray gun" for use against crowds.  In essence, a non-violent, non-lethal means of repelling a group of people.  It is pretty amazing technology and is starting to be deployed in Iraq. 

A CBS reporter recently tested out the effects of the ray gun firsthand by seeing how it felt to be zapped.  Definitely looks like it hurts but it is also kind of amusing.  Click on the link to see a video:
