I am always fascinated with the Supreme Court and with the men and women who are justices.  These people are the ultimate arbitrators of our society and they are the final word in any legal argument.  When our nation was born, the court was not viewed as it is today - a co-equal branch of government.  That only came about over time.

Justice Scalia is of course well known as one of the most conservative justices on the court.  He is very much an "originalist" as I am and believes that our Constitution is not a living document as so many would have us believe today.  The Constitution is meant to be interpreted as the original framers wrote it and what they meant then - not how some in society might perceive it to be today.

The 60 Minutes interview was fascinating and very well presented.  I encourage you to take the time to view it.  You can also click here to read it on CBS' website.
