Mayors chicken out – Now recommend FasTracks increase for the 2010 ballot

The Denver Metro Mayors Caucus has seen the writing on the wall and decided to recommend that RTD put off asking for a doubling of the FasTracks boondoggle tax until 2010. Is RTD padding the books on FasTracks?

Very, very interesting FasTracks news this week. The city of Aurora has announced it is going to hire its own consultant to evaluate RTD’s cost estimates for the I-225 corridor part of the project.
